Go to CBC.ca, You can either save an link or a snapshot of the site to your library.
Click the link icon 
above the middle pane. The webpage is saved as shown in the middle pane.
Click the snapshot icon 
above the middle pane to save a snapshot of the webpage.
Snapshot is a saved file within the Zotero library as an attachment (zotero://attachment/10445/, see the image below) while the linked page will point to the webpage itself (http://www.cbc.ca/). The benefit of saving a snapshot is that you can add notes to the snapshot and edit/manipulate the notes easily through a set of icons 
. You could not do anything about other people’s website. Both the link page and snapshot can be attached to an item by drag and drop to relevant items.
